Privacy, in plain language.

What the service stores

CacheCharger stores the email you register with, a salted password hash, a hashed recovery code, session identifiers, and the websites, URLs, settings, and check results associated with your account. It does not store your password or recovery code in plain text.

How it is used

These records operate your account, verify website ownership, schedule checks, enforce usage limits, and show reports. IP-derived rate-limit keys help prevent abuse. Cloudflare provides the application hosting, database, and infrastructure request logs. This release does not include advertising trackers.

Connected sign-in and payments

If you choose social sign-in, the service stores the provider identity ID and email needed to identify your account. Provider access and refresh tokens are not kept in the application database. You can disconnect sign-in methods in Settings after recent authentication. If you subscribe when payments are enabled, Stripe hosts checkout and the billing portal; card details do not pass through this application. Stripe retains payment and invoice records under its own policies.

Requests to your website

Checks request public pages and collect response status, selected headers, timings, and location evidence. The built-in probe reads response bodies to complete the request but does not retain the page body in your report. Normal requests are also made to Cloudflare’s DNS resolver.

Delete your data and sign-in connections

Detailed URL observations and activity events are retained for 30 days. Aggregate runs remain until their website is deleted. Sessions expire after 30 days. You can export account metadata and delete individual websites and their reports in the dashboard. Account deletion is available in account settings. It removes app-held provider connections and cancels any active subscription. Stripe may retain billing records it is required to keep; deleting an app account does not erase those records. Infrastructure logs and provider backups follow Cloudflare’s retention policies.
